London Wildlife Festival 2019

London Wildlife Festival 2019

Sadly, the difficult decision has been made to cancel London Wildlife Festival on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th August. This is due to forecast winds in excess of 40 miles an hour, at Walthamstow Wetlands, over the weekend.

This decision comes after careful consideration and consultation with the operations team onsite. The festival is due to be held almost entirely outdoors and we therefore cannot proceed safely, in the forecast weather conditions.

The Friday late session on 9th August will go ahead as planned, as this is held indoors.

If you have bought tickets for the Festival via Eventbrite, your tickets will be refunded automatically and your refund will be received in up to 5 working days.

We are so disappointed that the festival has had to be cancelled and really appreciate your understanding on the matter. The London Wildlife Festival will be back though – please look out for updates from us soon.

The London Wildlife Festival is a new and exciting urban event celebration and conservation and culture of Britain’s natural world.

London Wildlife Festival at Walthamstow Wetlands

Curated by London Wildlife Trust and David Lindo, The Urban Birder, the London Wildlife Festival will be the capital’s largest ever event dedicated entirely to the extraordinary nature and wildlife on its doorstep. To be held at Europe’s largest urban Wetlands, Walthamstow Wetlands, an amazing 211 hectare nature reserve with 10 stunning reservoirs.

The weekend will be filled with fun activities for the family all inspired by nature and conservation and a diverse program packed full of talks and immersive workshops. Whether you’re a keen nature enthusiast or looking for something a little bit different this summer, there will be something for you.
